Desperate Times – Is Internet Marketing The Answer?

There is no doubt that the last six months have seen drastic changes in the way money is distributed. In fact, the entire worldwide financial system has taken a hit unlike anything we’ve seen in the past 20 years – maybe even since the Great Depression (but that remains to be seen).

Even here in Canada, I’m seeing a lot of belt-tightening and I personally know of several people who have lost their jobs. And that brings me to my next point. Read the rest of this entry

Whoever said making money was easy?

My personal experience has been that there is no quick ticket to financial freedom. Regardless of what people may try to sell you, I have yet to see a system that will generate cash without any effort.

It’s a simple formula, really – you have to either trade your time for money, or have your money work for you. If you don’t have any cash to begin with, then obviously you will be trading your time for currency. Whether it’s physical labor, talent, or brains; most of us trade our time for money. Phil The Handyman Hmm…

I thought the best place to pick up again would be exactly where I left off in December 2007.

After I settled into my new house, I paid a visit to my parents. While I was there, I managed to have a conversation with a local handyman who was hired to stain their deck. I started the conversation by mentioning the fact that I was considering getting into the handyman business. After I let him know that I wasn’t local (and thus, not competing), he was more than willing to share some inside information.
